BIO

Formed in 2013, PRINZE GEORGE has quickly exploded onto the indie scene. Following the release of their breakthrough single, "Victor," The Wild Honey Pie declared, "[This band] could be destined for indie pop royalty status." Climbing to #1 on the Hype Machine charts, the single and the band have won the attention of music blogs, fans and labels from all over the world. Through My Headphones calls PRINZE GEORGE "[a band that] has all the makings of being one of the most talked about new acts." With their follow-up single "This Time" trending to the Top 10 on Hype Machine and the release of their most recent single, "Make Me," PRINZE GEORGE has been compared to Lana Del Ray, Little Ms Jeans and MS MR.

PRESS

"Prinze George surprised everyone with the soothing but mildly frantic pop song “Victor.” It immediately established the group a following and earned comparisons to Lana Del Rey and MS MR. …“Victor” selected for the movie soundtrack of Warner Brothers’ biggest European release of 2014,Honig Im Kopf. The remaining songs include the energetic “Upswing,” the atmospheric “The Writer,” and the acoustic guitar– and harmony–based “Windows.”

iTunes Editors’ Notes
"So it is with new tune "Upswing," arguably their most upbeat kick yet. The synths might sparkle, but her lightly disconsolate tones are as pleasant as pouty pink lips."
-NOISEY
"The three certainly have the potential to be one of the great breakout artists of 2015”

AXS
“Allow us to introduce Prinze George, who could be destined for indie pop royalty status in the near future. “Victor” is a tantalizing new ballad with lush bass, ominous piano and defiant lyrics.”
-The Wild Honey Pie
“It’s a breezy bridge between modern and retro, a heavy song with an easy way about it.”
-STEREOGUM
“The result is a shimmery, hyperactive dance pop anthem, where layers of playful harmonies abound in the spaces created by chunky drum machines and glitchy synths.”
-Consequence of Sound
"This Brooklyn-based by way of Maryland band is one hit away from reigning over the synth-pop stratosphere. When they emerged on the indie circuit and instantly soared to #1 on Hypemachine's charts, their powerful pop punch helped them become a king-like force not to be reckoned with."
-Teen VOGUE
“The sound engineering is crisp and balanced, and the final product is impeccably finished. So, not only is “Make Me” a good chill-out track in its own right, but when enjoyed within the context of Prinze George’s complete body of work, it emerges as a brilliant next creative step for the band.”
